Privacy notice

This notice explains how Pomoo Kereskedelmi Kft. (registered office: 1075 Budapest, Károly körút 12., tax number: 12345678-2-42), acting as data controller, processes personal data submitted on pomoo.hu.

What we process and why

When you submit a purchase enquiry we process your name, email address, phone number (optional), the text you enter in the message field, and the name of the product concerned. These are stored in the product_inquiries table for the sole purpose of replying to your enquiry and discussing the details. Legal basis: your consent and steps taken prior to entering into a contract.

When you use the contact form we process your name, email address, optional phone number, subject and message in the contact_messages table in order to answer you. Legal basis: consent.

When you subscribe to the newsletter we store your email address and chosen language in the newsletter_subscribers table in order to send you the newsletter. Legal basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time without giving reasons.

With every submission we also store a technical identifier: a one-way, irreversible hash of the requesting IP address and browser identifier. It is used solely to filter out abusive, automated submissions. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the operation of the site.

Retention

Data related to purchase enquiries and contact messages is kept for 12 months after the matter is closed, unless a longer period is required by law. Newsletter data is processed until you unsubscribe. The technical identifier is deleted after 12 months.

Who has access

Only the colleagues handling enquiries have access. The database cannot be read from a browser: the tables have no public read permission, and both writing and reading happen exclusively through an authenticated server-side process.

We use hosting and database providers as processors. We do not pass your data to third parties for marketing purposes and do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You have the right to request information about the data we hold, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Send your request to info@pomoo.hu. We respond within 30 days at the latest.

Remedies

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu) or bring the matter before a court.

Automated decision-making

The site performs no automated decision-making or profiling. Data submitted through the forms is not processed by artificial intelligence.
